Clarification and another Apology to Caryn
I promised to include here the poem that shares the name of my book manuscript, THE POET: A RIVER TO THE SEA. You will find a poem here entitled "River to the Sea." This is NOT the piece of work that will preface my book. It is a much happier poem than "River to the Sea." I promise. I also vow to do more Haiku - that is always a cheery bit of writing.

hey again. my daughter suggested I go to your blog so I could see your poetry. That way I wouldn't have to bother you with printing out pages, etc. That is how I came to post the comment! To that end, and others, we decided to purchase a laptop to take on the road. We ended up with a real beaut, a Toshiba, from Best Buy,$210.00 with 6 mos of tech support, 6 mos of anti-virus, free modem. 2 year contract with Verizon is the catch! I've already made a case/cover for it with geisha fabric. I need to get some batting to make a cushioned cover, though. Did you get my other comment? Poetry is great, and I love that I can just log on anytime and get a fix. Best to you on this difficult day. I think it's nice that Bruce still cares enough to do stuff with you and for you, though, I guess some couples don't even get that for what it's worth. I must tell you I no longer believe in marriage. I simply do not believe that humans are programmed to mate for life.We change and grow at different rates, we are not static. My friend at the storage place, Henry G. is married for the third time. I think he might regret this, because I got the feeling that he might like me as more than a friend but.....what if someone better comes along and you are stuck? We could explore this further some other time if you wish. What does Joe have to say? I would be interested to know. I think we need to stop punishing ourselves for not being able to fit into a box that society has forced on us.
